About Us:

Burge Environmental (Tempe, Arizona) is the developer and manufacturer of:

·        Trichloroethene (TCE) Monitoring Systems

·        Cr(VI) Monitoring Systems

·        Volatile Aromatic Compound Monitoring Systems

·        Multi-level Groundwater Sampling Systems

·        Automated Groundwater Monitoring Systems

The President of the company is Dr. Scott R. Burge and the CEO is Mr. David Hoffman.

The research and development efforts for these products began in 1988, and the systems were developed in associated with the Department of Defense and Department of Energy.

The multi-level ground-water sampling system was verified by the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in August 1999.

 

·        The multi-level ground-water sampling system has been modified to accept the optrode detection system to create an automated ground-water monitoring system.  This product is currently being tested by the USEPA at the Former Homestead Air Force Base, Florida (see Burge Environmental Newsletter).  The monitoring sytems have been deployed at:

 

·        Edwards Air Force Base (see publication)

·        Robins Air Force Base

·        Hanford Site (see publication)

·        Nevada Test Site
